It’s our honor to announce that Better Together has been selected as a finalist for the voting stage of the CareSource Foundation Grant Challenge. That means you can help support Better Together and strengthen families simply by casting a vote online.
The CareSource Foundation is giving more than $400,000 in grants across the state of Florida. Previous rounds narrowed the grant applicants to a small pool of nonprofits. The grant winners will be announced at the CareSource Foundation Grant Challenge Reception on May 2.
With this funding, Better Together can help more families thrive and keep more children from entering the foster care system. Our Better Families program has a success rate of 98%, meaning the families remain out of the state system long after participating in the program. Since our founding in 2015, Better Together has served more than 5,400 children throughout Florida. The Better Families program is active in 16 counties, and with strong support, we can expand statewide within the next few years.
