Double your gift through the 2024 Giving Challenge

Better Together is participating in the 2024 Giving Challenge, a 24-hour fundraising event that amplifies the efforts of some 700 nonprofits in the Sarasota region.

By donating through the challenge, your gift is doubled, up to $100, thanks to the support of The Patterson Foundation.

We’re excited to participate as we aim to help more moms like Danielle. After putting jail and toxic relationships behind her, Danielle was working to be a good mom. But she had no one to watch her son while she gave birth to her daughter.

Better Together helps families in crisis by providing essential wrap-around support, work opportunities and unwavering grace, empathy and love.

When Danielle reached out to Better Together, we connected her with a volunteer host family who cared for her son in their home like of one their own until he could be reunited with mom. She received mentoring and encouragement as she pursued her goals. And when complications required her baby to be readmitted to the hospital, Better Together volunteers were there to support her.

You can be the one to help moms like Danielle.

Support Better Together through the 2024 Giving Challenge.

Every donation, no matter its size, has impact:

  • $25 provides one Hope Pack full of essentials for a child
  • $100 buys essentials for four children
  • $250 covers the cost of the home study and background screening of a host family
  • $1,200 keeps a child out of foster care

The event begins at noon April 9 and ends noon April 10.
