Job loss and the resulting financial strife that parents face is often a root cause of child neglect. In fact, we were inspired to create Better Jobs because we saw how parental unemployment affected the children we have served through Better Families. With Better Families, we help parents by providing them with a mentor and a job coach, as well as a temporary home for their children, while they work to get back on their feet.
