Motivated by her desire to provide for Jack, Kyrstal gets up early each morning to catch the bus to work at Walmart in North Fort Myers. "I take as many work hours as I can get," Kyrstal says. "I love working.
Kyrstal often uses her bus rides to work to reflect on positive messages she reads on Facebook. She also looks at pictures of Jack sent to her by Ryan, Chelsea, and Better Together.
Arriving early to work, Kyrstal reflects on the challenge before her. "I'm putting my mind to the positivity of it. I'm going to accomplish my goals. I believe that," Kyrstal expresses.

Upon learning of Jack's story on Facebook, the Farmers Market restaurant in Fort Myers, invited Jack and his parents, Jason and Kyrstal to lunch. People throughout Southwest Florida are following Jack's story and helping in many ways.

Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases, Kyrstal and Jack are staying in contact via Zoom calls. Prior to the spike, Krystal visited Jack regularly.
