How Better Together equips churches to be the hands and feet of Christ
What if the most powerful solution to broken families in your community was already sitting in your church pews?
At Better Together, we believe it is.
Every week, churches across the nation gather in worship. But in a world filled with hurting families, job seekers facing rejection, and children at risk of entering the foster care system, the church was never meant to stay inside four walls. It was meant to move—to be the hands and feet of Christ in a tangible, transformative way. That’s where Better Together comes in.
We help the church put faith in action.
A model built on relationships
Better Together equips local churches with tools and training to meet real needs in their communities through two core ministries: Better Families and Better Jobs. These ministries are designed to be integrated into the life of the church, powered by volunteers, and focused on building relationships that lead to lasting change.
We’re not asking churches to launch something new from scratch. We’re inviting them to partner with us in what God is already doing—restoring families, restoring dignity, and restoring hope.
Better Families: Keeping children out of foster care
Every day, families face challenges: homelessness, addiction recovery, hospitalization, incarceration. Without a support system, their children are at risk of entering foster care—not because of abuse, but because of a lack of community. That’s where the Church can shine.
We train church volunteers to come alongside these families, offering short-term care of children, mentorship, and support. The result? Children stay safe, parents get back on their feet, and lives are transformed—not by caseworkers, but by Christ’s body in action.

Better Jobs: Restoring purpose through employment
Work is about more than a paycheck. It’s about dignity, purpose, and belonging.
Through our Better Jobs ministry, we help churches host community and second-chance job fairs that break down barriers for job seekers. We provide the training, playbook, and support; the local church provides the volunteers and hospitality. In just one day, lives are changed as people connect with employers, receive encouragement from job coaches, and leave with hope restored.
From pew to purpose
One of the most beautiful things we see is how this ministry not only impacts those being served—but also those who serve. Volunteers rediscover their purpose. They build deep relationships. They experience the joy of being the hands and feet of Jesus in their own neighborhoods. That joy often ignites a serve mindset.
You don’t need to do more. Do what matters.
Better Together isn’t about adding more programs to your already full plate. It’s about unleashing what’s already there—people with willing hearts and a Savior who still redeems.
The harvest is plentiful. The workers are sitting in your sanctuary. Let’s equip them.
Are you ready to be the hands and feet of Christ in your community?
