April showers bring May flowers, which bloom June surprises.

Scotlynn surprised Better Together last week by donating $2,500 in support of our work to keep children out of foster care.

Employees raised the donation in May through Scotlynn’s Casual For A Cause initiative, which allows casual dress on Fridays in exchange for donations to a nonprofit organization.

“Wow!” said program support specialist Kaylee Cappadona, who, along with executive assistant Kate McCartney, received the donation from Scotlynn’s Melissa Sahapoglu and Sydney Sanford on Friday.

But we shouldn’t be surprised.

For years, Scotlynn has supported nonprofits by volunteering in the communities they serve and via donations. This is Scotlynn’s second donation to Better Together. Scotlynn was also a featured employer at our job fair in May in North Fort Myers.
