511 job seekers attended the Better Together job fair on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at RidgePoint Church in Winter Haven.
Church volunteers greeted the job seekers with faith-filled hellos and a genuine desire to help. Volunteers also provided water and stood with those waiting in a winding line nearly 100 yards long.
Once inside, job coaches reviewed resumes, offered encouragement, and introduced job seekers to 12 employers and 10 resource partners. 211 job interviews were scheduled or conducted, and many job offers were made.
The job fair was Better Together’s first in Winter Haven.
