Churches, organizations and volunteers across the U.S. will come together April 30 to host simultaneous job fairs to provide meaningful work opportunities for returning citizens and other job seekers who have barriers to employment.

ABOUT NATIONWIDE DAY OF SECOND CHANCES
Nationwide Day of Second Chances is a time of simultaneous job fairs throughout the U.S. For returning citizens and other job seekers who have barriers to employment, like homelessness or lack of child care, it can change the world. The events provide free job coaching and resources, helping many land a job on the spot. Nearly all leave with more hope and confidence. The 2025 Nationwide Day of Second Chances is April 30.
ABOUT BETTER TOGETHER
Better Together is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that helps families in crisis by providing meaningful connections, work opportunities, mentoring, and short-term care for children. Under the guidance of Better Together staff, our vetted, volunteer host families provide children short-term care in safe, loving homes while parents work to get back on their feet. Mentors offer guidance and encouragement. A workforce initiative connects families and individuals to meaningful opportunities through job fairs, coaching, and business partners. A part of Better Together’s jobs ministry, Nationwide Day of Second Chances is a movement of simultaneous job fairs to help neighbors who have barriers to employment.
