Not since before the COVID-19 outbreak have we seen so many job seekers connecting with opportunity. According to early numbers, First Church Fort Pierce welcomed about 350 people through its doors today.
Even before the event started, job seekers lined up outside, eager to find work.
One little one coloring while mom filled out an application filled our hearts. This is what our job fairs are all about. Don’t have child care? We encourage parents to bring the kids. Don’t have interview clothing? Come as you are. Our job fairs are all about helping our neighbors overcome barriers to employment so that their families can flourish.
One job seeker turned into a volunteer at the end, helping other job seekers complete surveys.
