  • How will we get businesses to participate in our job fair?
    Better Together will teach you to create a coalition of community partners who can come on board and bring with them their business networks. In addition, there will be a number of national corporate sponsors who participate in every city where they have branches. Your church will need to follow our training to invite some businesses, but you will have a lot of support.
  • How many volunteers do we need who will help us plan the job fair and bring it to life?
    You will be able to execute on your job fair with as few as 3 volunteers, if they are very invested. However, the more the merrier!
  • How will we get people to come to our job fair?
    Better Together will be placing online advertisements in your city and promoting the day on national news media. You will work with your local coalition to follow our training and do grassroots marketing in your location.
  • What will it cost our church to execute on this job fair?
    You will be able to do your job fair with a very minimal investment in supplies and printing. As some churches may already have the needed supplies or access to printing, it will vary from no cost to around $500.00, depending on what you have available or donated.
  • Can we work with another church in our city?
    Yes! Better Together invites as many churches from a given city to join us as possible. Depending on the size of your city, you will either collaborate on one large fair or split your city into zones to offer several events for maximum accessibility. We encourage all churches participating to go through a training, but churches can also serve as helpers and support you without going through the training. If churches in your city want to be helpers, please connect with our team so we can share more about how this works.
