Abby Fuller proudly drove her old Honda minivan everywhere her family needed to go in Southwest Florida. School, sporting events and church were popular destinations.

Host Mom Abby Fuller was gifted a new car Friday.

And when her family volunteered to help families in crisis by hosting children, Abby playfully wondered if the minivan would make it through the hostings.

Abby doesn’t have to wonder anymore. Because on Friday she was gifted a 2024 Buick Encore Sport by RNR Tire Express in Sarasota.

Abby’s husband Isaac nominated her in the annual giveaway that had more than 10k entries. Isaac cited her dedication to the family and the children she hosts in the nomination.

“I was surprised. I was crying. I’m grateful,” said Abby.

Congratulations Abby! We’re grateful for all that you do for families.

The Fuller family hosts 5-year-old twins Chrniyah and Janiyah.

Join us for a 33-hour campaign dedicated to raising money and awareness for nonprofit organizations doing good in Marion County. Fundraising kicks off today and ends at 7 p.m. tomorrow.

We help families weather life’s storms, and sometimes an actual storm becomes the crisis.

For families who are in poverty and isolated, a hurricane can push them over the edge, leaving children at risk. Our mission is to help families before they fall.

After Hurricane Ian in 2022, we were boots on the ground, knocking on doors and responding to the immediate needs of those most vulnerable in our communities. We mobilized hundreds of volunteers and worked alongside government officials, local partners, and churches to help at-risk families. We’re doing the same now in areas impacted by Hurricane Helene.
