Learn more about Better Together during this live Zoom session with engagement director Jessica Braemer, The Source Church and Dream Church in Bradenton and Crosspointe Church in Sarasota.

Better Together’s mission is to strengthen families and prevent the need for foster care. Our Better Families program connects parents in crisis to a community of support, while our Better Jobs program helps job seekers find meaningful work.

There are many ways you can help your neighbors in need. Our volunteer roles include:

• Host Families: Provide a safe and loving home for children while their parents resolve short-term issues.
• Family Advocates: Serving in a mentoring role, advocates connect with parents in crisis, help them assess their situation and develop a plan to success.
• Job Coaches: Provide employment coaching, guidance and support through the job search process.
• Resource: Support by providing necessities like formula and clothing, volunteering professional services or temporary respite, or offering prayer, encouragement and support.

We are also seeking volunteers for our parent luncheons and Parents’ Night Out events.
