Helping Families Rebuild
Hurricanes often leave vulnerable families in Florida feeling hopeless and alone. Better Together steps in during these critical moments – walking alongside families, connecting them to urgently needed resources, and restoring the hope of a brighter tomorrow.
After Hurricanes Ian, Helene, and Milton, our volunteers mobilized within hours—knocking on doors, distributing supplies, and partnering with agencies, local leaders, and churches to meet immediate needs. And we don’t leave when the storm passes. We stay, helping families rebuild until they no longer need us.
Through disaster relief efforts, Better Together has served:
Give hope
Your gift meets families in their darkest hour. By donating online or through our Amazon Wish List, you provide essentials like food, water, and emergency supplies when they’re needed most.
Your generosity also fuels long-term recovery, helping families rebuild their lives long after the headlines fade.
Together, we can restore stability and remind families they are not alone.
Volunteers
Step in when it matters most
When a storm leaves families with nothing, volunteers are often the first face of hope they see. From delivering supplies to helping with cleanup or offering a listening ear, you show up in powerful ways.
Even a few hours of your time can bring comfort, dignity, and relief to families who feel forgotten.
Churches
A community anchor in crisis
Partner churches are vital in disaster response. Your congregation can serve as a hub of compassion – providing prayer, distributing supplies, opening doors for shelter, or coordinating volunteers.
By standing with families in faith and action, your church becomes a beacon of hope when it is needed most.
Employers
Restore livelihoods, rebuild communities
Disasters don’t just damage homes – they disrupt jobs and livelihoods. As an employer, you can make a direct impact by offering work opportunities, donating supplies, or mobilizing your team to volunteer.
When businesses step forward, families regain not only income but also the confidence and stability to rebuild their lives.
