Thanks to our amazing church partners, Better Together job fairs hit a major milestone. Together, in just the first two months of 2025, we have helped more than 1,000 job seekers connect to meaningful work opportunities.

These uplifting job fairs don’t just impact job seekers.

First United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce served more than 400 job seekers at a job fair on February 19, 2025.

After volunteering at a February 19 job fair hosted by First United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce, Loida Lopez shared:

“A particularly important moment for me today was the realization that I could do a lot more than I KNEW.”

That one job fair provided opportunities for more than 400 job seekers.

That same day, well over 100 job seekers attended a Better Together job fair hosted by The Journey Church in Fernandina Beach, resulting in 100 interviews scheduled or conducted and 21 job offers made on the spot. Among the people receiving a job offer was a mom we’ve been supporting through our Better Families program.

Then in Central Florida, a Better Together job fair hosted by Kissimmee Fellowship Church had a strong showing with 218 job seekers.

At all three events, job seekers left feeling more confident. Our job fair model is designed to support job seekers, but it’s the people who give their heart and love to their neighbors that make these events such a success.

Thank you to all who made these job fairs and vital work connections possible!
